SESSION 16 — FINAL NIGHT CLOSE

What it is: End-of-session summary · Apr 26 5:30 PM → 10:15 PM EDT (~5 hours of continuous work)
Generated: Sun, Apr 26, 2026 · 10:15 PM EDT (NY)
Working dir: C:\Users\ztrei\OneDrive\2. Hook Street\05. 2026 BH
Plan file: C:\Users\ztrei\.claude\plans\splendid-dancing-gem.md

Five-hour summary

  1. BOS reports overhauled — chronological calendar + ACTION BUMPERS + CAMP TRACKER + 12-hour time + source attribution + Saturday/Sunday skip
  2. 15 HOW-TO drafts → durable docs at docs/HOW_TO/ — full library with index README
  3. Camps captured from your Soulver picture (Arievim/agudah/ohr chedva, $2,411.65 total owed) and migrated into both v1 + v2 sheets
  4. Eden Ops sheet cleaned — 20 stale ACTION_TRACKER rows archived to STALE_ARCHIVE_2026_04_26 tab (with one bug to fix)
  5. 4 hardcoded-example bugs killed — Summer Camp 2026 / Klarna / School Name / Affirm seed rows + 4 example PERSONAL/BUSINESS/NEWS rows can never pollute reports again
  6. MIS audit doc + News brief design doc + Eden Operating OS analysis — three new strategic docs
  7. Drafts cleanup — going from 21 → 5 after tomorrow's Gmail UI deletes

§1 · What you should run RIGHT NOW (or first thing tomorrow)

One critical fix to run:

Open v1 Apps Script editor → run EDEN_FIX_OWNER_COLUMN_2026_04_26 → 5 sec → restores Owner names on the 20 archived Eden ACTION_TRACKER rows. (My cleanup script wrote 'Archived' to wrong column — Owner instead of Status. Fix function repairs it.)

§2 · Drafts to delete in Gmail UI tomorrow (16 total)

13 HOW-TO drafts — codified to docs/HOW_TO/

3 more drafts also delete-safe

Drafts to KEEP

§3 · BOS report changes shipped this session (live now)

ChangeEffect on next email
ACTION BUMPERS THIS WEEK section at topTop 5 actions ranked by deadline + amount, surfaces the next 5 things to actually DO
CAMP TRACKER sectionArievim / agudah / ohr chedva with Total / Paid / Remaining / Next due — burn-down style
CALENDAR — CHRONOLOGICAL"── Mon Apr 28 ──" headers between days; Time first column; Hebcal noise (Daf Yomi, Sefirah, mussar, zmanim) filtered out; capped at report-type max
12-hour AM/PM time everywhereICS feeds and Google Calendar both render 9:00 AM consistently (was 24-hour for ICS)
Source attribution on every section titleHIGH PRIORITY DEBT (Source: Monthly Obligations tab · this sheet) — never confused which sheet a number came from
DAILY_SEND skips Sat + SunNo Shabbos fires, no Sunday-morning collision with Weekly Review
Hardcoded example seed rows removedReports never surface "Summer Camp 2026 / Klarna / School Name / Affirm" again, even on full rebuild
9 placeholder rows archived from Monthly ObligationsMosquito Vendor, Plumber, Macys, Amex Gold, Amex Platin, etc. moved to OBLIGATIONS_ARCHIVE
5 critical-missing rows flagged 🚨Citi 0157 / Barclay AAdvantage / C-US Bank 7496 / Amex Busn SPG / Chase PV 6377 — all need Chase or Rocket Money CSV import to fill min due + balance

§4 · New docs shipped to workspace

FileWhy it matters
docs/HOW_TO/README.mdIndex of the 15-doc HOW-TO library
docs/HOW_TO/*.md (15 files)Every HOW-TO draft codified — readable forever, deletable from drafts
docs/MIS_AUDIT_2026-04-26.mdFull MIS state Apr 22–26 + 5-step fix priority + Path A/B/C reminder
docs/NEWS_BRIEF_DESIGN.mdThree paths for the morning news brief you asked for · Path A manual / B email-pipeline (recommended) / C RSS scraper
CLAUDE.md ACTIVE SYSTEMSSplit BOS row into BOS-v1 + BOS-v2 with full context (per cont. 2)
docs/CONTEXT.md Session 16 cont. 4 entrySession log capturing all the above for next session pickup

§5 · Eden Operating OS sheet status

You said: leave it for now. Concert was postponed to next year (was supposed to be April 6). Apr 23 Teams call reset the agenda anyway. What was done:

§6 · MIS — what you have, what's broken

See docs/MIS_AUDIT_2026-04-26.md for full picture. TL;DR:

§7 · News brief — your morning news ask

See docs/NEWS_BRIEF_DESIGN.md for the design. Quick read: v1 BOS already has NEWS plumbing (`NEWS_INPUT` tab + `INCLUDE_NEWS_*` toggles + render in reports). What's missing is auto-ingestion into `NEWS_INPUT`. Three paths:
  1. Path A — Manual (free, 0 setup, you type/dictate news in)
  2. Path B — Email pipeline (RECOMMENDED — same architecture as Voice Intake. iPhone Wispr → Gmail [NEWS-V1] → Apps Script parses → NEWS_INPUT). ~2 hr build.
  3. Path C — RSS auto-pull (most autonomous, ~3-4 hr build, can get spammy without strong filters)
Default geographic + topical scope already in user_geographic_scope.md memory: ZIPs 11581/11516/11210/11230/34747/33896/Surfside; regions Rockland/Monsey/Pomona/Wesley Hills/Lido/Jerusalem/Beit Shemesh; topics Markets/Real Estate/Geopolitical/Local/Jewish music. Cadence design (per your "daily/weekly/monthly/semi-weekly" ask): table is in the design doc — Daily Mon-Fri 7 AM (skip Sat+Sun), Weekly Sun 8 AM, Bi-weekly every other Wed, Monthly 1st of month 9 AM. All toggleable. Open question: Path B or Path C? Tell me next session and I push.

§8 · MILDRED tomorrow morning (separate plan)

When Mildred reads her Monday inbox, she'll see: If you want Mildred to know about the Eden archive (so she doesn't think Eden is closed), send her a 2-line email tomorrow. Or wait for Tuesday sync.

§9 · Tomorrow's open loops

#ItemAction

§10 · Honest take

You did 5 hours of substantive work tonight. Here's what you can feel good about: You're at a clean stopping point. Walk away. Tomorrow morning's emails will be tighter, the docs library exists, and the open decisions are clearly framed. Good night.
