What I took from workerbee.com (honestly)
Their site is dated and generic โ not a design model. But the bee + honeycomb + honey-gold idea is gold (literally), because it's our identity. So v2 keeps your existing navy + cream + serif-headline premium look and adds three things: a honeycomb-textured honey-gold hero, hexagon accents (section bullets, card corners, icons), and a warmer honey-gold (#e6a817) alongside your muted gold. Restraint stays; it just gets a signature.
The building blocks, in the new language
๐ฏ
Honey-gold accent
A warmer, richer gold for highlights + buttons โ reads as "bee," pops more than the muted gold alone.
โฌก
Hexagon motif
Hex section-bullets, hex card-corners, hex icon tiles โ a quiet through-line on every page.
โฆ
Honeycomb texture
A faint comb pattern on hero bands + dividers. Brand recognition without shouting.
๐
Two-tone wordmark
"worker ๐" โ navy + the bee. A tiny signature that ends every briefing.
Before โ after
Current house style
- Navy/cream/muted-gold โ premium but anonymous
- Flat gold left-border header band
- Plain bullets & square cards
- No brand signature tying outputs together
v2 โ honeycomb
- + warmer honey-gold pop for accents/CTAs
- + honeycomb-textured hero + hex dividers
- + hexagon section-bullets, card corners, icon tiles
- + "worker ๐" signature โ every page is recognizably yours
If you like it
Say the word and I'll codify this into docs/DESIGN_SYSTEM.md as the house v2, and re-skin the live surfaces (the briefings, the portal, the "What Sam Sells" deck) so everything carries the signature. I held off changing the real files first โ you should see the direction before I refactor for real.
