The Family Memory Engine succeeds when:

1. Nothing important is lost.
2. Anything important can be found in under 15 seconds.
3. Chanie feels helped, not monitored.
4. Sam trusts it enough to stop using the WhatsApp "Hook" folders.

If a feature doesn't move one of these four, it doesn't ship.

The KPI is NOT "messages saved." It is "found in under 15 seconds."

Instrument and track:
- searches attempted
- searches successful
- search time (target: < 15s)

What this is NOT

Not Telegram, bots, Claude, KV, Drive, or sheets — those are implementation. The product is "nothing gets forgotten." The bot is only the input layer; the value is capture + retrieval.
