Malca Yenta / LevSMS Launch Packet

Generated: 2026-05-05
Owner: Sam Treitel
Purpose: get the project from idea/business plan to "ready to file, buy, publish, and resubmit Twilio."

This packet is preparation, not legal advice. Filings, EIN, bank account, Twilio resubmission, domain purchase, and payment require Sam's authenticated accounts and final approval.

Current read

The Twilio rejection is very plausibly due to compliance evidence gaps: no live brand website, no public privacy policy, no terms, no visible opt-in workflow, and possible mismatch between the registered sender brand and the LevSMS/Malca Yenta product name.

Twilio's current A2P guidance says campaign review looks for a detailed opt-in flow, representative sample messages, HELP/STOP handling, a live website when website opt-in is used, and privacy/terms pages that match the messaging program. The website and messaging copy in this folder are designed to fix that.

Update 2026-05-13: Sam reported Twilio is now connected / OK to work for LevSMS. The connected Gmail search did not show a clean A2P approval email, so this is treated as Sam-reported from the Twilio console until the exact console status is recorded. The next blocker is no longer compliance copy; it is the live SMS router/backend.

Recommended launch order

  1. Decide the legal sender name for the pilot.
    - Clean path: form Malca Yenta Networks LLC, get EIN, buy domain, publish site, then submit Twilio under that exact legal brand.
    - Fast path: resubmit under the current sole-prop/HookStreet setup, but every website/footer/message must identify that same operator.
  2. Confirm/buy domains.
    - Primary chosen product domain: levsms.com if Sam owns/controls it.
    - Legal/defensive domains: malcayenta.com, malcayentanetworks.com.
    - Product/alternate shortlist: levsms.org, levsms.io, textlev.com, nwpulse.org, northwoodmerepulse.com.
    - DNS check from this machine on 2026-05-05: levsms.com and nwpulse.com resolve; the priority/fallback names above did not resolve. Registrar availability must still be checked at checkout.
  3. File Delaware LLC.
  4. Get EIN from IRS after the Delaware filing is accepted.
  5. Publish website using the actual legal operator name.
  6. Resubmit or confirm Twilio A2P with the exact same brand, website, privacy URL, terms URL, support email, opt-in workflow, and sample messages.
  7. Do NY foreign qualification and publication if/when the business is actually operating in New York.
  8. Build MVP SMS router after Twilio compliance surface is stable. As of 2026-05-13, this appears to be the current workstream.

Gmail connection

The currently connected Gmail account had no recent twilio results. To connect a different Gmail account in Codex Desktop:

  1. Open Codex app settings or the connectors/apps panel.
  2. Find Gmail.
  3. Disconnect the current Gmail account.
  4. Reconnect Gmail and choose the mailbox that received the Twilio email.
  5. Return to this thread and tell me to search for twilio newer_than:90d.

Fallbacks: paste the rejection email here, attach a screenshot, or forward the Twilio email into the Gmail account already connected to Codex.

Critical consistency rule

Twilio reviewers check consistency. Pick one operator identity and use it everywhere:

LevSMS public brand + Malca Yenta Networks LLC legal operator -> website footer -> privacy/terms -> support email -> Twilio brand -> sample messages -> opt-in language.

If the Twilio account remains under HookStreet or Sam as a sole proprietor, use:

LevSMS, operated by Sam Treitel / HookStreet Capital for the NW Pilot

until the company registration is rebuilt under Malca Yenta Networks LLC.
